Two weeks ago (august 4, 2017), my kneecap slipped out of place and, after slipping back in, caused a lot of pain, anxiety, swelling and fear. It’s also been derailing my training, forcing me to stop running, and even walking, for a while. To handle this terrible setback, I’ve turned to poetry. Reading it. Memorizing it. Remixing it. Writing it.
